We are looking for a Petrochemical Consultant for the EMEA region, based in either our UK (Surrey/Cheshire), Russia (Moscow) or Bahrain office. You will be responsible for Technical Consulting services and delivery to Petrochemical plants and providing Business Development support with a focus on Petrochemicals.
You must be able to:
Develop specific regional knowledge and expertise relative to the EMEA market
Lead/oversee Research & Development tasks
Execute/review process calculations
Perform plant simulation modelling and calibration
Build/upgrade clients´ existing tools and simulation models
Participate in financial evaluations of project economics and plant reconfiguration
Supervise teams for mid-size projects You must possess:
The ability to use process simulation software
Strong interpersonal skills
High level of self-motivation and initiative
A strong working knowledge of petrochemical complex operations and economics, particularly Olefins and Aromatics production
Ability to maintain and develop existing client relationships Qualifications Candidates must have a chemical degree with 8-10 years experience in Petrochemical oriented positions with an operator (ideally a major industry player) or through multiple on-site assignments. A combination of commercial and technical background would be ideal.
You must be able to travel at least 25%. An advanced degree, professional engineering certificate, a technical degree (e.g. Chemical Engineering) and fluency in additional languages are all pluses.
